LIAM MCEVOY

I am a final-year Interaction Design student keenly interested in digital illustration and human-computer interaction. I am hoping to expand my skillsets and experience with a view to creating user-friendly, accessible interfaces.

EXPERIENCE

McDonalds

I currently work in Mc Donald’s in Belfast as a ‘Crew Trainer’, training crew members and making new-starts feel welcomed. Working there involves working in a team, serving customers, and has helped improve my interpersonal communication and interaction skills.

Daniel Footwear

I have also worked in Daniel Footwear, Banbridge, a high-end fashion retailer. This experience, speaking and listening with staff and customers, has been invaluable for developing communication skills and building confidence in working easily with others.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am currently studying BDes Hons Interaction Design at the Belfast School of Art. This course involves creating websites, apps and looking into how the design and technology is changing the world.

I have been working in the world of work since the age of 17. I’ve learnt that customer service is ther heart of a business, providing good customer service will make customers want to return.

I have had experience of being a keyholder which has invloved me opening and closing the store. I have had money handling duties such as cashing up tills and counting the safe.
